Bettabet Red has chalked up win number 13 with a tough effort on the Sunshine Coast tonight.
After a solid fourth placing at Doomben at her previous start, Bettabet Red was sent out favourite $3.20 for the BM 75 (1600m).
Given a gem of ride from leading hoop Damien Browne, Bettabet Red settled just off the pace during the run and was produced at the top of the straight to make her run.
Despite several challengers throwing their all at her in the final furlong, Bettabet Red was never going to be denied.
