Bettabet Red as given her connections a thrilling start to the New Year by producing an outstanding win at Doomben on Wednesday, taking Weddings At BRC (BM 75) Hcp.
A tremendous effort by both horse and rider (Damien Browne), saw Bettabet Red overcome plenty of trouble in the straight and in the final 100m, flash home to get the decision in the tightest of photos.
It was her second win from only seven starts since joining Louise’s Sunshine Coast stable, took her career prize-money to over $200k, and suggested more wins are in store.
