Kokopo Kitty has recorded her fourth win on the Sunshine Coast track, winning the BM 62 over the 1000m dash tonight.
Perfectly ridden by Tiffani Brooker, Kitty stalked the leading pair before sliding up three wide to join the leader as the pair rounded the home turn for the run to the judge.
Early part of the straight it appeared it was going to be a battle royale with little separating Kokopo Kitty and Belistic Man with each travelling well and little separating the pair.
Still locked together racing inside of the last 200m, gained a slight advantage of her rival and when Brooker asked for a little extra – Kokopo Kitty dug in and began to extend her margin, crossing the line with a little of a length advantage.
