Tolai Meri has continued her sensational run of form by winning her third consecutive race this campaign, at the Sunshine Coast today.

Jumping away well from a wider gate in the Class 3 (1400m) Handicap, jockey Dale Smith found the lead comfortable on Tolai Meri soon after the start.

Challenged for the lead passing the 800m mark, Smith made sure the short-priced favourite was not going to be crossed and continued to do enough to ensure he kept the inside advantage.

Straightening for home Tolai Meri was full of running and easily established a winning margin, crossing the line to record a comfortable three-quarter length victory.

The win takes the Tolai Meri’s career victories to four from only the fifteen outings and her stakes money to a healthy $70K
